Celebrating Two Years at RWM Wealth Advisors

It’s been two years since co-founding RWM Wealth Advisors, and what a wonderful ride it has been. Though each of us traveled different roads to arrive here, forging a shared vision and collaborating every day has been nothing short of incredible.

Over the past two years, we’ve broadened our services to include comprehensive tax and estate planning, while also gaining access to a wider array of investment solutions. From day one, we dove in with purpose, always keeping our clients at the heart of every decision, with the goal of deepening trust and strengthening each relationship.

To support our growth, we brought on part-time assistance from our friend and business powerhouse, Vanessa Fischer. Our Operations Director, Julie Workman, earned her Series 7 license, deepening her operational expertise. Steve tackled rigorous coursework to sharpen our processes and elevate client satisfaction. I personally committed hundreds of hours to earn three industry-leading credentials, the CFP®, CPFA®, and AAMS®. Together, we’ve worked tirelessly to deliver truly sophisticated, high-value financial plans and recommendations.

Early on, a client asked me, “What’s so different about this new firm?” I fumbled my answer, leaning on familiar wording: “It’s the same relationship you expect, with added insight and support.” In hindsight, that didn’t capture what really sets us apart.

The magic comes from our dynamic partnership. We each bring deep experience to the table but we see things differently, we’re passionate about different facets of planning, and we challenge one another’s assumptions. Those spirited conversations spark fresh ideas and lead to more robust solutions.

For example, my natural optimism sometimes made me overlook worst-case scenarios, like ensuring homeowners coverage limits were current. My previous firm didn’t emphasize this detail, but through a partner’s real-world property and casualty background, we now proactively address it, helping clients sleep better at night. Likewise, hearing firsthand how umbrella policies have saved clients from devastating lawsuits reinforced their critical role in comprehensive planning.

My passion lies in investment management, designing strategies that adapt to economic shifts and respond to life’s unexpected turns. Rather than relying on “set-it-and-forget-it” models, we build fluid portfolios that evolve with career transitions, changes in family or business dynamics, and shifts in market outlook. This level of attentiveness, combined with our team’s deep commitment to tax and estate planning, reflects the very reason I joined RWM Wealth Advisors: to ensure our firm grows in step with our clients’ increasingly sophisticated needs.

As we approach Labor Day and our second anniversary, I feel immensely grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us and the support of my incredible colleagues. We’ve built a solid foundation together, and now I’m excited for year three, continued growth as a firm, deeper collaboration as a team, based upon prioritizing unwavering support for our loyal client community.
